

AGAVE SPIRIT COCKTAIL WITH POMEGRANATE AND LEMON FLAVORS
We combine our Montellier lemon-flavored sparkling water with the tangy taste of pomegranate and a dose of agave spirit! Does that inspire you?
PORTION 1
INGREDIENTS
For the simple syrup (you’ll get about 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of simple syrup, which you can keep for other recipes)
1 cup (250 ml) sugar
1 cup (250 ml) water
For the cocktail
2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
2 lemon wedges
0.50 oz simple syrup
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
1 oz agave spirit from Comont
Top with Montellier lemon sparkling water
Garnish: pomegranate seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
For the simple syrup:
1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup (250 ml) sugar and 1 cup (250 ml) water to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the liquid becomes clear and syrupy, about 3 minutes. Let cool.
You will get about 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of simple syrup, which you can store for other recipes. The syrup will keep for up to two weeks in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
For the cocktail:
1. Using a muddler, crush the pomegranate seeds and lemon wedges in a shaker.
2. Add ice to the bottom of the shaker.
3. Add 0.50 oz simple syrup, 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters, and 1 oz of agave spirit.
4. Shake, shake, shake!!!
5. Prepare your strainer to filter your mixture.
6. In a serving glass filled with ice, pour your mixture.
7. Top with cold Montellier lemon sparkling water.
8. Garnish and enjoy!
Note: Cocktails can be prepared a few days in advance. Add Montellier sparkling water just before serving. Enjoy!
