ENTRY RULES
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES ( REFERRED TO HEREINAFTER AS THE “RULES”) BEFORE ENTERING THE FLY WITH MONTELLIER CONTEST BROUGHT TO YOU BY MONTELLIER CANADA (REFERRED TO HEREINAFTER AS THE “CONTEST ORGANIZERS”). BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, ENTRANTS CONFIRM THAT THEY MEET ALL OF THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SET OUT BELOW AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE CONTEST RULES WITHOUT RESERVATION AND TO BE BOUND BY ALL DECISIONS OF THE CONTEST ORGANIZERS, WHICH ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL RESPECTS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONTEST, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THESE CONTEST RULES.
CONTEST PERIOD
- The “FLY WITH MONTELLIER” contest (the “Contest”) is organized by MONTELLIER CANADA (the “Contest Organizers”) and runs in grocery stores and online from September 9 to November 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (the “Contest Period”).
ELIGIBILITY
- This contest is open to all residents of Canada over the legal age in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Organizers, any company, corporation, or other legal entity controlled by or related to them, their advertising and promotional agencies, and suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest, as well as members of their immediate families (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law spouses and all persons with whom these employees, representatives and agents are domiciled, are not eligible.

3.1 You must complete the Fly with Montellier contest form on the Montellier website.
Participation restrictions
- Participants must comply with the following restrictions, failure to do so may result in disqualification:
4.1. Entrants may enter only 1 time by entering their details on the contest form .
PRIZES
- Four round-trip economy class tickets for any Air Canada flight (including flights operated under the Air Canada Express brand and those operated by Air Canada Rouge) departing from any Canadian airport served by Air Canada and arriving at the Canadian destination of your choice served by Air Canada.
DRAW
- The draw will be held at Montellier’s offices (Contest Organizers) in Quebec City at 9 a.m. (ET) on November 3, 2024. One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all entries received during the Contest Period.
- Chances of winning. The odds of being selected for a prize depend on the number of entries received.
PRIZE AWARDING
- In order to be declared a winner and receive his/her prize, any entrant selected for a prize must:
8.1. Be reached by e-mail by the Contest Organizers within five (5) business days of the draw. The winner has 72 hours to respond, failing which another entrant will be selected.
8.2. If a selected entrant does not meet all the conditions set out in the contest rules, refuses the prize or is declared ineligible for the prize in any way, he or she will be disqualified and will no longer be entitled to the prize. In such an event, the Contest Organizers may, at their sole discretion, cancel the prize or randomly select another eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
8.3. The winner will receive his or her prize by mail on a specific date determined by the Contest Organizers.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Participant
- Participant identification. For the purposes of these rules, the entrant is the person whose name appears on the contest form and it is to this person that the prize will be awarded if that person is selected and declared a winner.
Personal information
- Authorization. By entering this Contest, all entrants selected for a prize grant permission to the Contest Organizers and their representatives to use, if required, the following information: name, photograph, image, voice, place of residence and/or statement regarding the prize for publicity purposes, without any form of compensation.
- Personal information. Personal information gathered from entrants as part of this Contest will only be used to conduct the Contest, unless the entrant has otherwise consented. Personal information will then be destroyed from the Company’s database upon completion of the Contest.
Contest Participation
- Disqualification and/or legal remedies. The Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify a person or to cancel one or more of a person’s entries, or to obtain compensation under the law, if a person enters or attempts to enter this Contest in a manner that violates these Contest Rules or is unfair to other entrants (e.g., entries over the allowable limit). Any attempt to tamper with the lawful conduct of the contest is a violation of civil and criminal laws. Should such attempts be made, the contest organizers reserve the right to reject the entrant’s entries and seek legal action.
- Amendments. The Contest Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, amend or suspend this Contest, in part or in whole, in the event that an event or any human intervention occurs that could affect or influence the proper management, security, impartiality or conduct of the Contest as provided in these Contest Rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.
- End of participation. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, participation in the Contest is terminated in whole or in part before the end date specified in these Contest Rules, the selection of entrants may be made, at the Contest Organizers’ discretion, from among the entry forms duly collected and received up to the date of the event that ended the Contest participation.
By entering the contest, each eligible entrant acknowledges and agrees that the contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Air Canada or any of its affiliates, and that the Contest Organizers are exclusively responsible for the running and administration of the contest, including the selection of winners and the distribution of prizes.
Prize
- Prize limits. In all cases, the contest organizers may not be required to award additional prizes or to award a prize other than in accordance with these rules.
- Acceptance. Prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred in whole or in part to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged for cash, except as provided in these rules.
- Substitution. In the event that it is impossible, difficult and/or more expensive for the Contest Organizers to award a prize (or part of the prize) as described in these Contest Rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or part of the prize) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the monetary value of the prize (or part of the prize) as described in these Contest Rules.
- The prize must be accepted as awarded and may be used for products and services offered by Air Canada or its subsidiaries and affiliates, as the case may be, in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions applicable at the time of redemption, including Air Canada’s General Terms and Conditions of Carriage, which are publicly available on the Our General Terms and Conditions of Carriage page.
- Prize winner and travel companions are responsible for all costs, expenses and taxes not stated herein, including but not limited to ground transportation, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, personal expenses of any kind for overnight accommodations, meals and beverages, management fees, onboard meals and entertainment, travel to and from the point of departure, as this is where the prize begins and ends; the purchase of sufficient travel insurance, if required, prior to departure; the procurement of all necessary travel documents, such as passports and visas, and compliance with entry, health, customs and immigration rules and requirements. These requirements are subject to change without notice.
- No Aeroplan points, miles or other loyalty program points will be awarded for travel.
- The Prize winner and their travel companions accept and acknowledge the risks associated with the spread of infectious or transmissible diseases, and understand that it is the winner’s and their travel companions’ responsibility to take the necessary precautions in this regard, particularly regarding COVID-19.
- No changes are permitted to bookings once the date of travel has been confirmed and tickets issued. The following blackout dates apply during which no flights may be booked:
December 14, 2024 to January 08, 2025
April 16, 2025 to April 23, 2025
July 27, 2025 to August 17, 2025
December 15, 2025 to January 05, 2026
Blackout dates are subject to change without notice.
- Prize is not transferable, upgradeable, refundable, redeemable for cash or valid towards Air Canada Vacations packages. Layovers and multi-destination itineraries are not allowed.
Liability Disclaimer
- Contest functioning. The Contest Organizers, any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or related to them, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, representatives and agents (the “Beneficiaries”) disclaim all liability for the malfunction of any computer component, software or communication line, for the loss or absence of network communication or for any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased by any computer or network, and that may limit or prevent any person from reading the Contest Rules. The beneficiaries also disclaim all liability for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any Internet page or any software or by the transfer of any information related to participation in the contest.
- Contest participation. By entering or attempting to enter this contest, all entrants release the beneficiaries from all liability for any damages they may suffer as a result of entering or attempting to enter the contest.
- Prize use and acceptance. By participating in this Contest, any entrant selected for a prize is solely responsible for his or her own actions and shall hold any person and/or legal entity harmless from any damage and/or injury he or she may suffer as a result of accepting or using his or her prize.
- Prize warranty and prize suppliers. Any entrant selected for a prize acknowledges that the only warranty applicable to the prize is the manufacturer’s standard warranty, if applicable, and that upon awarding of the prize, the obligations related to the prize become the responsibility of the suppliers of services and products included in the prize.
- Functioning of the Contest website. The Contest Organizers in no way guarantee that the Contest website or any site linked to it will be accessible or functional without interruption during the Contest Period or that it will be free of errors.
- By entering the Contest, each eligible entrant agrees to release and discharge Air Canada and all of its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives and affiliates from any and all liability for any claims or actions, losses, fines or legal costs arising, directly or indirectly, from the Contest and its administration, the Contest Prizes and related activities.
Decision and Dispute
- Contest Organizers’ decision. Any decision by the Contest Organizers, or their representatives, regarding this Contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, in relation to any matter under its jurisdiction.
- Appeal. For Quebec residents, any dispute regarding the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
Miscellaneous
- Severability of paragraphs. If any paragraph of this by-law is declared or held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or invalid, then such paragraph shall be deemed to be invalid, but all other unaffected paragraphs shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Language. In the event of any discrepancies between the French and English versions of these rules, in the event that an English version is available, the French version shall prevail.
- Gender. The use of the masculine gender only in this document is intended to lighten the text and is done without discrimination.
