4 cups of blueberries
1 cup of water
pinch of cardamom
1 cup of sugar
1.5 cup of water
a few drops of lemon juice
a small sprig of rosemary
1 cup of @MontellierCanada Sparkling Water
Combine the blueberries, cup of water, and cardamom in a saucepan. Mash the blueberries and bring the pot to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for a few minutes. Strain the contents with a cheese cloth (or strainer). You should have about 4 cups of liquid.
Add sugar and one and a half cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the blueberry juice and cook for a few minutes. Add the lemon juice and rosemary sprig for flavouring. Pour this blueberry simple syrup into a bottle to use.
Fill a glass with ice and one cup of Montellier Sparkling Water. Add 1-2 tbsp of the blueberry simple syrup. Garnish with rosemary and blueberries.
